I'd love to see a compilation of CCM stories done by journalism students from the Medill School of Journalism.

Anyone want to help out Patrick?

To Whom it May Concern,

I am currently working on a video feature for my freshman journalism class at Northwestern University and was hoping I could organize an interview with a Chicago Critical Mass organizer in advance of Friday's ride. Interview questions would focus on Critical Mass's community perceptions and organizers' ambitions for raising cyclist awareness. Please respond to this email address or feel free to give me a call on my cell phone at 260-615-7351. I look forward to speaking with you.

Thanks,

Cross-posting from sub-thread regarding April 29th Earth Mass 2 proposal:

Dear willow set aside a derailleur page for the map, but needs to go to print soon (like, Sunday).

So I rushed through updating 2009's flyer, and posted it on massup and google and CCM's calendar and library.  No turn-by-turn yet, but the overview is an interesting read.

The route is unchanged.  Could y'all take a careful look for anything grossly contraindicated.  I'd have liked to have done a fresh pre-ride before print, but few days left.

I really should go home and get some sleep for the Frozen Snot on Saturday, but I'm sooooooooo tempted by the Empty Bottle show.  I'm pretty sure I'll ride at least the first bit of the Mass tomorrow, will look for you on the Plaza.

Heya Folks,

I'll be proposing a route for tomorrow's ride to lead it over to the Empty Bottle for WTB's Winter Meltdown fundraiser. I'll have a sound system and a small posse to help me lead but I could always use more. Any volunteers?

Wanted to echo David on how wonderful it was to host a gaggle of CCM finishers for NYE.  We heard bunches of stories about the ride first hand, among them that police presence was disproportionately heavy (like November), and about losing some packs.  Worth noting massup.us could've helped, but needs more users.  Small winter masses certainly behave differently, faster and more demanding of alertness.  I also heard y'all went well south first.  Those who made it to the Lunts late must've had a long ride.
