Crazy you mention Halloween! Planning a Halloween map is always my favorite (cause I get to go over board on the map design) and I was thinking about a wicked mob/gang violence through history themed map earlier this week. The last one I did was a fires that killed a bunch of people and serial killers.

Anyway if you want some help I will throw my hat in right now cause it seems serendipitous.

Last year the Mass made it's way aaaaaaaaall the way up north to our NYE party--some of them stayed the whole weekend.  We like to throw parties up at Lunt House!

Thanks Todd! That's really helpful advice.

Anyone who wants to help can email me at julie@thechainlink.org.

The magic formula is to design a route and make a map that ends at the party with some catchy graphics and info about the party so that if the mass as a whole doesn't make it to the party for whatever reason (such as a competing map) folks will still find their way there.

If the party is a fund raiser consider free admission with food and drink for sale.  Beer can be profitable if appropriate for the venue.

Hey guys, it's been 2 years since we had a chainlink party and it's time again.  I'm thinking about a halloween party Friday Oct 28, which is Halloween Mass.  Can the ride end at the party like it ends at the bike winter art fest or polkaholics?  I'd even be up for possibly leading it although I'd def need some help getting the venue ready in time. Or maybe I cut out a bit early to help set up.

does anyone else remember when that limo driver was arguing with someone on a bridge durring mass downtown right near union station when another biker grabbed the keys out of the limo and threw them off the bridge.  Sometimes drivers are asses, sometimes bikers are too.  If you see somthing , say somthing.  Were a community, and we all have to look out for each other

Cool cant wait till I'm 39. What can you do when you turn 31?

They should have made her pay for the damage but the chances of them following up on that are slim. At least they shared info.

There was no damage to her car. The driver side corner of her bumper basically hit him in the ass pushing him forward and sideways, knocking him off the bike. She then hit the brakes, but was parked on his rear wheel, so that was definitely toast. I worry he has frame damage or something not obvious that could be worse then a wheel.

He didn't seem all that upset (possibly in shock?). Him and his buddy decided to just exchange info with her. I stayed after she left, and gave him my name and cellphone. He was saying he would probably just let it go, and I was telling him, "no way, totally her fault, as least make her pay for that wheel". She did it in a rage, but was apologizing over and over after the accident and we told her we could call the police.  I texted him this morning telling him he should have her pay for it, but he hasn't replied. Oh BTW, her excuse was that it was her 39th birthday, which obviously gives you license to run people over with your luxury SUV! OUT OF MY WAY EVERYONE, I'VE GOT DRINKING (then driving) TO DO!!!

So how was this Lexus situation handled? Was their damage? Was a report filed?
