Is this still an active group? Is there another stolen bike task force group involved on The Chainlink?

Looking at doing some recovery rides. Any interest amongst those that used too? I'll do the primary planning on Facebook. But will cross post here. The dates we ride down will be sent via text after we decide as that may keep it from being public. Though I don't think that is a huge factor it can't hurt.

Had to repost that on FB. :-)

That's one smart cookie. I'm suprised an investigative officer came to the scene.

Robertson was arrested again January 11, 2012 and charged with felony bike theft. An additional 10 high-end bikes were recovered from a storage locker in Chicago. Press Release attached.

I had my red Cannondale RT3000 tandem stolen two weeks ago. I have yet to see another one out there on the road in town. If you see a red Cannondale RT3000 tandem, let me know.

Someone stole my wheels. They were aluminum weineman deep rims with origin 8 hubs. The rear hub had a dent in it. Blue tire on the back wheel and my C.Y.B.C.T.G spoke card. I'm pretty sure they're long gone but if you happen to come across them please let me know. Thanks.

got a bike stolen yesterday from inside my gated yard. It was cheap mountain bike but it's still a little frustrating especially since the bike belonged to a friend I was trying to sell it for.

As I was walking out my door this AM I looked out my window to see my road bike being ridden off by a high schooler.

It's nothing special but it was MINE.
My friends got it for me and used blue, red, white duct tape to make it look like a Cubs themed bike. Kind of easy to spot!

I called police and they actually seemed responsive and I heard him put out a call to others to look for it. Still I don't have much hope.
