I saw a string of posts on the Stolen Bike Registry where a bike was stolen and an undamaged ulock was left at the scene. Anyone have any ideas what's happening in these cases?

this is very disouraging. seems like lock picking or some type of skeleton key ? I would think the better u-locks (I use the on-guard bulldogs) would be hard to do this to ???

Good catch Cameron-- these caught our eye too.

There is -absolutely- picking of U-locks going on out there, but nobody's going to pick a U-lock and then re-close it.

My top suspicion is that someone is sawing frames and selling the components.
