Can't say enough good things about the lobster gloves, they are super warm.

And re: other BW cities. . . . heaps o' thanks to Howard for helping them get rolling.

Not too bad today. But I deployed *all* gear, including goggles. My trip for thumbs is to sometimes hide them behind the handlebars to cut down on wind exposure.

I was almost too warm this morning. I suffer from cold fingers/toes, so I wear mittens (rei brand work for me) and my thumbs suffered most but not that bad. I think the sun helped. The ride home will be the test. The wicked wool l.l. bean base layer is really wickedly warm!

I was find this morning. I wore wool socks, warm, ugly boots, thermal tights, fleece pants, termal top, fleece shirt, wind proof coat, balaclava, gaiter, scarf. My hands were supper toasty. I wore light fleece gloves under a pair of REI multi purpose gloves.

I skipped the goggles today. I find that if I wear my balaclava up over my eyes I can create a breath powered steam area for my eyes. It's kind gross and moist, but I felt warm.

wool socks, 2 base layers, pants, cold weather water resist pants, t-shirt, sweatshirt, hoody, fleece, snowboard jacket, 2 balaclavas, hat, goggles, glove liners, lobster gloves.

goggles fogged/froze a bit, otherwise, i was fine

Feet are fine in my Merrell winter boots but my fingers are COLD!!

who rode today? And what equipment do you rely on? (i.e. no fog goggles, goggles that allow enough peripheral vision, best ideas for keeping the digits warm) We'll see how my "equipment" does today.

@olloyd1: Oh No! Hope you didn't get to beat up. I took today off, those 30-50 mph gusts were a bit much for me
