Before I read this description I thought those were fancy leopard print mittens.

This month we kick off our second annual Winter Cycling Series. This year, we are honored and excited to offer the rides in partnership with Bike Winter. We are calling it the Big Shoulders Big City Bike Winter Classic. Riders that complete all four rides will get a commemorative t-shirt ONLY given to those that complete all four rides. On all rides, Bike Winter will be on hand to offer demonstrations, advice and/or workshops, and hand out free maps, balaclavas, water bottles, stickers and gators. The first ride is next weekend on Saturday November 28, 2009. Details for the rides are as follows:

Big Shoulders Big City Bike Winter Classic Ride#1

Todd,

Thanks for your reply.

Luckily, I'm own delta tricycle because I like the feel of a handlebar. I've been looking around for fenders. Because I'm a former winter BIcyclist, I have a lot of coldweather/waterproof cycling clothing.

I trike winter.

If the pavement is sloppy I get sloppy too. A delta trike with two rear wheels is probably better than my low tadpole (2 front wheels) for winter riding. Fenders and waterproof clothing make it bearable though. And it is nice not having to worry much about ice.

But if there's packed snow I go out on 2 wheels. Trikes bog down more in snow.

Are there any winter trikers here?
