Would you like to Bike the Drive as a member of the Volunteer Accommodations team?  You get to ride for free and what you have to do is fill your trailer with fruit, muffins, water and whatever else there is to eat/drink and distribute it to the volunteers who are standing in one place for many hours.  Contact me at kangarookathy@yahoo.com

The Chicago Ride of Silence is seeking someone with a bike trailer to pull a ghost bike in the procession during this year's Chicago Ride of Silence on Wednesday evening (May 16) - contact Elizabeth directly if you can assist - (elizabeth@rideofsilence.org)

Ride Bike the Drive FREE - if you are willing to drag your trailer full of refreshments for volunteers.   We are looking for 5-6 volunteers.  I love to do this because you make people happy with the food and you demonstrate how efficient a trailer can be.  And surprisingly - even at my slow speed, I'm not the slowest rider out there.  Contact me directly at 773 248 5499 or kangarookathy@yahoo.com if you are willing to volunteer on May 29th.  You must get down to Grant Park very, very early in the morning - before the sun comes up.  I will ask for your phone number, t-shirt size and then ask you to sign up officially on the bikethedrive.org website. But please communicate with me directly so I can contact you directly.

I need one or two more trailer people for Bike the Drive on May 30. If you are interested you must be at the downtown start at 4:30AM to pick up the food to distribute to the stationary volunteers. It's fun and much appreciated, And you get to do the ride for FREE. Please write directly to me at kangarookathy@yahoo.com. I will ask for your phone number, t-shirt size and then ask you to sign up officially on the bikethedrive.org website. But please communicate with me directly so I can contact you directly.

Daniel - I specifically asked anybody interested to sign up directly with me - although going to their website is required to make it official. I know they are having trouble with their e-mail this week and perhaps that is why you didn't get an acknowledgment. If you wish to volunteer please sign up directly with me by writing to kangarookathy@yahoo.com or calling 773 248 5499 I can assure you that you will be on the team. And I must establish direct contact since I do not know you. Do you have your own trailer?
