What's this doing in the bike lane?

Share your pics, videos, streets, stories of what you find in the bike lane of the non-bike variety that has an impact on your ride and/or your safety. I've decided to keep it a little more open ended - cars, snow, buses, garbage, cabs, etc. If they shouldn't be in the bike lane, go ahead and add it to this thread. Please be safe if you are taking pics or video! :-) 

My hope is that we can collectively build some evidence of what we see when riding in the city with the overall hope of better enforcement of "bikes only" and improving maintenance.

In case anyone else was re-routed from the SEGREGATED BIKE LANE on Milwaukee Ave between Grand & Chicago today. I called police and his delivery company. He had to pull into the bike lane 2 blocks away, and another block and a half to get out...

Happy Friday everyone. Another smooth ride in today. No warning on Kinzie that they closed the bike lane right after the bridge and poured fresh tar over the same lane. So anyone know how to remove tar from bike tires? Or am I shopping this weekend?

I've rolled over fresh pavement accidentally on a couple of occasions. Typically once it cools, it brushes/rubs off fairly easily, but I'd recommend doing so while wearing a bike glove or something similar, as it's a bit rough.

Goo gone (use lightly and slowly; in other words, don't pour a bunch on, dab at the spot(s)).

Prep sol works great. Wipes right off and keeps the paint intact.

So I reckon the city could make a couple of thousand over a weekend at each car wash.  Alderman Laurino's office is yet to respond regarding the use of bike lanes by businesses.

Also was lucky enough to find one of our city's finest probably making a personal call whilst driving one handed.

This group of people was blocking the dearborn bike lane as I walked by it today. They told two cyclists to "f off and that the cyclists need to watch out for them."
