Maybe I just missed this completely...but I walked out of my house today and saw that Turin Bicycles in Evanston is now called 10/27 Bicycles (formerly Turin)
When did this happen?! Anyone know any details about the change?

When you google, they have a new URL: http://www.ten27cycles.com/.
Makes sense, this does not.
Went there last weekend. Did not notice the name change at all, but it looks like they started to carry more accessories and fewer bikes. They had a great selection of Ortlieb bags in stock, which is not that common.

1027 is the street address - right there on the web site.
My wife is going there tomorrow to get my son his first bike helmet. (He's not riding yet, but ready for the Burley). I'll have her ask.
This is an email that I received from Chris
Evanston’s premier bicycle shop has changed its name to Ten 27 Cycles. Ten 27 Cycles, formerly known as Turin Bicycle, is at 1027 Davis Street in Evanston IL, where it’s been offering Truth, Knowledge, and Really Great Cycling since 1971. The new name mirrors the popular store’s longtime downtown location.
Much will stay the same. The familiar front window displays on Davis Street will highlight bicycles for all riders. The same passionate-about-cycling staff will warmly welcome both committed and casual riders, whether they’re road cyclists, triathletes, track racers, Northwestern students, commuters, mountain bikers, or, of course, kids. The award-winning service department will continue to keep equipment humming. Plus, the staff has recently laid out the shop to consolidate parts and accessories displays and emphasize the Fit Area, which highlights their expertise in fitting road bikes to a wide variety of riders.
Chris Mailing, president and majority owner since 2004, is now the sole owner of the Shop.
Mailing is a friend to cycling and the community. He coached riders at the Northbrook Velodrome from 1999 to 2007 and continues to mentor juniors new to the sport. He was the Evanston Small Business Person of the Year in 2010 and serves on the boards of Downtown Evanston and the Evanston Chamber of Commerce. Mailing also brought world-class bike racing to downtown Evanston and transformed the physical building at 1027 Davis from three storefronts into the open, airy space that’s fun to browse and shop in today. Ten 27 Cycles will continue to sponsor the bicycle club that organizes the Illinois State Cycle Cross Championships each December.
If you are receiving this E-mail, you can now post a message to everyone on this list by sending an E-mail to Ten27SundayRide@yahoogroups.com.
Lee Katz, one of the original founders, recently sold his stake, but retained rights to the name. I'm told he wants to open a Turin in the city, which would be kinda awesome.
