This morning, I grabbed a Divvy from Union to (close to) my office, so I was already in a pretty good mood.  And then I saw this, and it really made my day:

One of these days, I'm going to remember to throw some books into my bag to drop in the basket.  

That's pretty cool. Similarly, at the Grayslake Metra Station (on the Milwaukee District North line), they have two racks of books with a similar sign. Over the years, I've never seen the book quantity dwindle, however, the books do change; so people are using the free book trade system (there at least).

Geneva station has this, or used to.  I haven't been through there in a few years, so not sure if it still exists.

That was actually put in place by the local library, they used to keep it stock with the books they were getting rid of. The rack hasn't returned after the station remodel.
