I would not call myself a fan* exactly, but that song! Wow - it is probably in my top 15 favorite songs** list - it so amazingly great! So as a non-fan, I would also like to thank you for posting it!

*never bought a record or even contemplated going to a show

**don't ask!

way cool! have seen Morrissey many a times and even got to see The Smiths at the Arogon Ballroom for The Queen is Dead tour.

This would have been the tour that they were on when they came in the record shop I worked at:

I wasn't much of a fan at that time and couldn't even tell which one was Morrissey... The Queen is Dead was one of my favorite albums in '86 though... unfortunately concerts at that time seemed like an extravagance I couldn't afford.  All you tweens... if you can swing it, go see your musical heroes live while you have the chance.

Ha! This thread inspired me to dig out some cassette tapes. I have The Smiths, self titled (which I'm currently listening to) and Morrisey, Viva Hate.

Yes, I have a cassette player.

Thanks for this site.  Nice.

Brilliant!  Thanks for the heads up on that blog site. Good stuff.
