Robin Gibb, 62

First reported yesterday; still hanging on as of 3 hours ago; coverage getting somewhat more detailed as the news propogates to reflect that he didn't only live from 1975 to 1979.

I assume that when you show up for visiting hours at the hospital you have to disclose

whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother.

I hope he pulls through. If not I'll always have fond memories of singing "How Deep is Your Love" for karaoke at a sushi bar in Honolulu...

Hip hop? Rapper's Delight was a hit in the 70s and people like Grandmaster Flash and Kurtis Blow were incredibly well-known in the 70s to anybody in the R&B scene. The future is older than you think it is.
