Does bikesensory perception exist?

Knowing whether the driver on my left is going to veer in front of me to the right where Clark & LaSalle meet.

Whether the pedestrian in the middle of the street will absolutely cross in my path oblivious to the fact that I'm there.

Whether the person standing by their car door is going to swing it open in my path.

Whether the driver approaching his yellowlight is going to blow through or stop.

Yes, I guess it could be the 45 years of riding a bike...

Yep, this gets my vote, too.

Best yet, paying attention plus plenty of experience.

Yup. Bike Experience Attention Perception.

I like to quote Andy Grove, former CEO of Intel, "Only the paranoid survive". When I was in college, one of my favorite graffiti going around campus was "The paranoids of the world are right!".

It's being a ninja salmon, take no prisoners, going balls out (works for women, too), and owning the road in my ultimate biking machine. With my rad racing gear, the morgue photos will look pretty stylish.

Always assume the worst, be surprised by the best.  Not just biking, but in general.
