CCM vet Jay Sebastian proves there is such a thing as a green food truck

Although they are all the rage with foodies, conventional, gas-powered food trucks guzzle fuel and have noisy, smelly generators. Bridgeport Pasty, purveyors of the the savory meat pies that are the national dish of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, has come out with a more eco-friendly solution. They sell their pastries from a Global Electric Motorcar (GEM) a tiny electric truck. Some of you may know co-owner Jay Sebastian, who drums in Twang bang - the band used to frequently play Critical Mass from aboard a pedal-powered quad cycle.

I would superlike it if t'was pedal powered assit :) Still very cool!

Or we can find a way to slap on solar panels to the roof. Although they'd have to be quite large and pointed in direct sunlight to be effective.
It would be great if the city codes were changed so that you could sell hot food, or even cook from aboard a cargo bike. Anybody remember Johnny Payphone's flaming barbecue bike?

Didn't they grill a rat on that thing or was it possum?
