Bearded Bicycle Critic on Milwaukee Ave - 8/1/13

Was anyone else lucky enough to be insulted entertained by the man with the long white beard in the Chevy suburban yelling classic anti-bike lines such as "buy a car you cheapskates", "cyclists don't pay to use the road" and more. A coworker said he may have been yelled at by the same guy but in a different car and on Augusta. Is it art? senility? sarcasm?

(Unfortunately I did not get his face or license place but you can see the vehicle. Also, please excuse the horrible audio, the mic records every vibration created by my bike and the road.)

Welp, he certainly has a point. My mind has been changed. This will be my last post on the Chainlink, as I will be going off to buy an SUV and move out to Naperville. Farewell.

He didn't grow his big white beard for nothing - it keeps him anonymous. Just think of all the last week's meals that are buried in all that hair - bound to make you a little trigger happy.
