Ald. Ameya Pawal and 2pensmedia have developed a very cool new iPhone app for reporting potholes, and other problems to the city.  Here's my write up on it:  http://www.mybikeadvocate.com/2012/10/new-iphone-app-to-allow-chica...

Sounds very cool, but not all of us have iPhones.  I want an Android version!

it would be easier to report the smooth spots

On some streets, that's unfortunately too accurate.  Two of my most frequently used east-west connectors near my house fall into that category.  :(

Can I just send them a picture of Sheridan Road, Winthrop and Kenmore between Hollywood and Devon?

Or maybe a Google Maps link?

Give it a go and see what happens.  Let us know so we can see if this thing works.

I find it interesting that one can use the Chicago Works tool to report graffiti, but doing so at the City's online version is no longer an option.
