Chicago, IL., - BIKING THE STATES & NOTHING WITHOUT A COMPANY invites all adventurers and film guru’s to attend the BIKING THE STATES “Raising Fundz in the Sun” Fundraiser at Weeds Tavern (1555 N. Dayton, Chicago, IL.) from
2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m on May 15, 2010. The event will help support the creation of
BIKING THE STATES: An Exploration of Self & Country documentary and join biking and documentary fanatics from around the area.

Kicking off the event right a bicycle ride where riders can have the unique opportunity to ride with the BIKING THE STATES crew, starting at Iron Cycles (Kedzie and Montrose) and ending at Weeds Tavern.

The fundraiser event will feature:
• BIKE RAFFLE
• $10 buy in for a chance to win a bike

• Live Music on outdoor patio
• Trejo
• Freedom Band
• Acoustic guitarist John Seale

• $15 Cover gets food and drink from
• Flying Dog Ales beer
• Chipotle chips & guacamole
• Bd’s Mongolian Grill stir fry

• Games and prizes
• Sponsored prizes from Iron Cycles & Bd’s Mongolian Grill
• Local Area Bike supply stores, restaurants, boutiques, salons, etc.

Viewing of the 6 webisodes of the BIKING THE STATES adventure will take place indoors and closing the event will debut a trailer of the BIKING THE STATES: An Exploration of Self & Country documentary film.

BIKING THE STATES: An Exploration of Self & Country, where five friends embarked on a journey across 22 states and traveling 6,500 mi. via bicycles to gather life experience and stories from all the people they met along the way. The BIKING THE STATES partnership began producing weekly webisodes during the trip and has now ventured out to create a documentary of their extraordinary trip.
