Humboldt Park Research Ride #2

These are the research rides for Humboldt Park. I know this area quite well, and therefore we will only have 3 rides, not 4. Furthermore, there are sections of the tour that will be areas covered in the West Town tour since the neighborhood of Humboldt Park straddles the Community Area of both Humboldt Park and West Town.

The idea of the research rides is to gather documentation including notes and pictures of historically significant or interesting sites, interesting examples of architecture, and route planning. Considerations include things like distance from other stops, points of entry, road conditions, density of sites, etc.

If you have never been on a research ride, they are fun, show you things you won't see on the tour, and offer an opportunity to contribute to the make-up of the tours.

The other research rides are as follows:

Wednesday May 5 - 4 to 7
Thursday May 20 - 6 to 9

All research rides begin at West Town Bikes at 2459 W Division, but please note the actual tour starts at Humboldt Park at the intersection of California and Division. The actual ride is on Sunday May 23 at 1:00 PM
