Ok I probably didn't spell that right. I was wondering if anyone drives these for extra cash. How much can you make in a night? Where do go to get involved? Any other fun stories too. Thanks

rickshaw is the correct spelling and you can ride one by renting from a company. The companies in chicago are Roger Rickshaw, Chicago Rickshaw, and Blume Brothers. The fireworks and other festivals can pay extremely well a couple hundred dollars is good and not uncommon at an event like this (the rickshaw costs about $40 per day or $160 per week) depending on company. For any other questions you can ask me or get in touch with one of the companies.
yeah...that thing is pretty dope and fresh. anyone wanna go halfzees on it? we can take turns riding it back from Minnie

Ahhhhh that is so sweet! I've always been interested in getting a Rickshaw. Making money for something I do anyways? How perfect is that?

It's the season again! Do you love bicycling, meeting people, and making some great cash? Pedicab drivers are needed by established company with garage very close to Wrigley Field. We have the best rates in town...only $300 for the month of April, after that $400 a month if you pay bi-weekly. Drivers who work hard can make $500-$600 a WEEK. Valid Driver's license REQUIRED. Baseball and concert season is just around the corner. Secure your cab now for the summer, once rented people generally don't give them up because it's a great job!
Contact Pete, garage manager, at petermueller72@gmail.com or 773-469-5983. Thanks
There is a Pedicabs group here on the Chainlink.
Bummer... is it common to require a drivers license? I'm interested in pedicabbing this summer, and did so a couple years ago in Oak Park, but I let my license expire last year when I turned 26. Am I SOL?

Yeah! WTF? Why is it required to have a drivers license?
They need to take insurance out on you. Without a license it's probably impossible to get insurance to operate a vehicle on the streets.
Not to mention that you will be responsible for multiple lives, and a license is an excellent way of making sure that you have a basic understanding of rules of the road...
