I just looked at the post-construction drawing. Has anyone figured out how one goes from northbound Clybourn to westbound Belmont? This is one of m regular afternoon routes (but I guess not for the next 12 months or so).

Just looked on the map. Riding NW on Clybourn, you can make a left on Barry, then first right on the alley parallel to Clybourn, which leads you to Western. There you can go under the overpass to Fletcher St. Then right on Campbell, left on Belmont. Not sure what will happen once the overpass is demolished for that shortcut.

This has always been a tricky spot for cyclists. If you line up at the light to the far right at Clybourn, once the light turns green, you are set up to be right-hooked by traffic going northbound Western or eastbound Belmont. To successfully left bootleg to northwestbound Clybourn, you must carefully merge with traffic and continue your left bootleg northwestbound toward Clybourn. Good luck, ride safely.

The shortcut I mentioned doesn't involve the Clybourn/Belmont intersection. It's riding parallel to Clybourn (see: left on Barry, right on alley) until reaching Western. That leaves you a bit south of Belmont and roughly aligned to a crossing of the underpass leading to Fletcher St. I attached a picture of the crossing west of Western. The light source (NW bound) comes from the alley.  Just need to ride a bit south to connect to the crossing.
