Burnham Greenway questions

So today I shot down to Burnham Greenway for the first time; I'd tried before but was unable to actually find it. It was a nice ride, but raised a couple of questions.

1) Who would be the person to talk to about maybe getting a sign put up that shows you how to find the damn thing? I can't be the only person who's ended up by the tank and then sort of cluelessly looked around before giving up.

2) Over by the William Powers park there's an exceedingly weird bit where the path turns into a completely unpassable dirt track piled up with gravel. It would actually be alright without the huge chunks of gravel, but as is I just quit here and went and tooled around in Powers park. How long does this unpassable stretch last? What's past it? Who would I talk to about getting it paved or at least having the city get rid of the ridiculous gravel?

Any help appreciated!

1) ATA will probably know who to bug about that.

2) The gravel part is an uncompleted section. The gravel is old railroad balast, since this is a rail-to-trail. They REALLY need to complete that part, because to get to the rest of the trail involves riding on suck-ass Avenue O. Directions:

You'll exit the trail onto Avenue O. Go south. The name changes to Burnham Ave at some point. You'll cross a long bridge over railroads tracks. Immediately at the end of the bridge turn right (its like an exit ramp) and the ramp will do a 180 and you'll be heading north. Take a left at the end on State St heading west. Half a mile and your see the continuation of the trail on the left.

The trail then dies again in downtown Lansing, and its not worth picking up again. From there, head to Three Floyds because that's the only sane reason for anyone to be down there.
