Notice that in 2099 bikes no longer need chains.

I not only see a chain coming onto the top of the chainwheel, but a vertical slot in the yellow bulkhead for the chain to run.  The chain is in shadow coming back off the bottom of the chainwheel.   The chain in on the Left side of the double-bottom-tube in older tandem crossover style, and the chain is diving down under the carriage body as it drives back towards the stoker in the rear.   Notice also the double-toptube and a single downtube.  Looks to me like that is an early iteration of a BB30 bottom bracket too.  Very forward-thinking of the artist.

One issue I see is that it looks like there would be some serious heelstrike with the carriage body projecting forward as it goes down lower in front, even engulfing the seat tube.   Also, steering might be an issue with the dual mid-wheels.
