Route to Hide-A-Way Lakes, Yorksville via the Illinois Prairie Path then Fox River Trail from the city

New(ish) small time tourer. Planning my 3rd overnight trip for October with several friends. None of us have ridden the Fox River Trail and only two of us have been on the IPP. 

Those of you familiar with this route, any guidance or advice?

The Fox River Trail is beautiful , and your route is about as simple as it gets.   Try to check out the Fabyan Mill and Estate.
