Greetings friends, we are having a bike hacking workshop this Sunday, August 17th! $10 admission includes a DIY bike light kit that we will build together in store, with other kits and schematics available, including a super loud electronic bike horn, weird eccentric lighting to stay visible at night, mobile sound systems, and more! We have limited space, so sign up today!

Do you have a cool bike hack that you want to share with the masses? Let us know, or contact us for more info at chicago@chisciplus.com

Oooo....I wonder if I can make it.  That is down the street from me and one of my favorite stores!

It starts at 5pm, and will go to about seven or so, depending in how many show up. Come out and get your bike ready to light up for shorter days!

I wasn't able to make it, but I did stop in and Lorie was a big help.  I inquired about future events and she mentioned that it will be a good possibility.  She also showed me what the projects were, I will be back in to piece together a horn system for my commuter, that was really neat.

Unless I am out of town, I'll be down for the next go around.

And Bob Kat are you the "engineer" who created the light and horn?  I'd love to get the kit pieces for the horn, or know what to buy.
