My office building was handing out announcements of upcoming Chicago River bridge closures:
The Clark Street Bridge over the Chicago River will be closed from June 10 through June 13, 2014 and again from June 17 through June 20 for pedestrian underbridge construction.
The Dearborn Bridge over the Chicago River is planned to be closed in late June for 7 days, exact dates not yet determined.
The State Street Bridge over the Chicago River is planned to be closed in early to mid July for 7 days, exact dates not yet determined.
The bridges will be closed to all vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic.
CTA is rerouting affected buses as needed and will post signs at stops.

Man, that'll be a bummer to have Dearborn closed. I hope the construction doesn't rip up the bike lanes (looking at you Kinzie). Though if it's just Riverwalk-related I imagine we're good.
This morning there were cyclist detour signs at Clark and Kinzie directing southbound cyclists to detour via Dearborn. I was a little surprised to see that; I didn't know that many cyclists rode on Clark over the bridge.
I rode south over the river on Clark, as I do almost every morning, at about 7:15 and didn't see any signs. If you hit the lights right on Clark it's about twice as fast as Dearborn, plus I work on Clark. Guess I'll be switching to Dearborn for a bit.
Didn't see it either at 8:15.
Looks like a route adjustment is in order for the foreseeable future.
