Forging a new route

I am looking for someone who will ride with me or help me create a route from the city to Marengo, Illinois.  It's about a 70 mile ride, and I want to stay on trails as much as possible.  Please let me know if you have ideas or want to take a ride some weekend soon.

You can take the IPP to the Great Western Trail, then at St. Charles, you can either keep going west on the Great Western Trail, turning north about halfway to DeKalb and taking farm roads to Marengo or you could take the Fox River trail to around Crystal Lake, then heading west to Marengo.

If you search for bike directions via Google to just about anywhere bike paths will show up in green.
