The Chainlink

I love my front headlight.  It's bright, it's cheap, it's rechargeable.  OTOH, I've never been bowled over by any of the blinky red lights.  I have about a half dozen and none are perfect or even close.  They're too small or don't attach conveniently so that they can still be seen (for example, I only have about three inches of seat post extended and that's obscured by my seat bag).

So when I saw this Kickstarter campaign it was blinky love for me.   They have one week to go and are close but not close enough to their goal.  If you like them, too, won't you join me and help pitch in?

Finally something that isn't one of those crappy "laser" things

And Blinkers!!!

Is this light better than a traditional fender mounted taillight in any way?

I looks like for the brake light to work, you need to put a magnet between the tire and inner-tube.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by "better".  I think it's better because it's bigger and more visible.  It's certainly not better because it's cheaper.

I might buy one if it was silver and had some more info on battery life. Otherwise my Pixeo fender-mounted tail light seems totally adequate.

It states an expected battery life of 8 hours.
