Wouldn't this be so nice for a holiday chainlink party :)

We did something similar once on Todd's trailer on a north side critical mass in 2010. It was pretty fun.
It may be the best reason and only reason to get on a bike while its below 0 with favorite libation in cart and helmet on! This could become a real fun event...perhaps on nye, whilst peops are feeling very merry and cheery :)

I don't have much knowledge of the Chicago Karaoke scene. But I did travel abroad a ton in 2007/8, and I really took a liking to it as a social activity. Regrettably, I didn't continue it here in the states.
It looks like Hannah Bass did a Chainlink Karaoke ride that landed at The Drum and Monkey in 2010.
It has literally just occurred to me that this might be the best reason ever to get on a bicycle. I wonder if there are enough brave souls to try this in Mid-December...

Would be interesting to see how long it would be able to keep up with the ride.
This has already been done I think twice on CCM though, but not with human power.
What's your favorite Karaoke place, Chi-Lowe?
Chi Lowe (<12 parsecs) said:Um. This is awesome. Karaoke is way underplayed in the US. You gotta bring this thing to CCM with a stack of flyers/cards, and ride against on the curb side while people sing, so you can hand them out to the gawkers. You should think about mounting a couple of tow mounts or a rack on it, so people on bikes can jump in without locking up.
Thanks for the positive feedback. I will be doing a show at the MCA on March 7th 2014 from 6-10 for 1st Friday. I won't be biking around because it still a bit cold. But definitely let me know if you guys ever want to do a party!
