The Chainlink has been such a big part of our support system since we launched, so we wanted to share some awesome news with you guys: St. Louis has agreed to be the first U.S. city to use the Bike Index as their city bike registry! The leaders of Trailnet, the city's bicycling, walking and public transit advocacy group, helped us connect with the law enforcement and government there, and now the Bike Index is going to be St. Louis's first ever bike registry, which is pretty awesome.
We're excited to use this partnership with St. Louis to learn how to connect with other cities and improve the Bike Index's system based on what a big city needs.
There's some more information on our blog here: https://bikeindex.org/blogs/bike-index-official-registry-of-st-louis
Thanks to everyone who has supported us and been excited about what we're doing so far. We really appreciate you guys. Stay warm out there, everybody!

Chicago wishes the best for our cycling neighbors in St. Louis. What's the bike theft situation there? Is it a huge problem as it is in larger cities? Are thieves just grabbing cable-locked bikes, or are they grinding off U-locks in any numbers?
