So this will continue to pop up every 2 years. A friend of mine was talking about how this would blow my mind but then I was like yea thats been around for a while. Good for them (the designers) for getting some venture capital for it and sticking to their dream. Not really new info though. Cant wait to hear the same thing in a couple of years. Maybe by then you could buy them.

They are terribly pricey. I can't imagine most riders wanting to put out that much money. Sure, some early adopters will...they always like the new-fangled stuff but the everyday rider can probably think of other things to spend that nearly $500 on.

No less than 8 people have posted it to my Facebook timeline because I am their "bike friend" - but I know I've seen it before. Was it two years ago? Either way, I don't have the heart to tell them all that I ALREADY KNOW about the spendy airbag neckbrace!

I do have a girl crush on the Swedish designer duo though. Esp. that moment when they gaze thoughtfully out into the sea of parked cars...

I usually just send them a link the forum discussion from here and say, yes, people are talking about it!
