North and Talman to Kedzie Metra UP-W route?

Hullo! 

Yay first post! I just moved to North and Talman and was wondering if anybody had a good route set up to get to the Oak Park Metra station--OR to the Kedzie metra-which is the same rail but a flag stop only.

In similar threads discussing best routes to Oak Park, I've seen Augusta mentioned a lot as a good route.
