Oh yay more traffic and busses on Chicago. It's not congested at all.

A lot of the traffic seemed to have rerouted to Kinzie this morning - it was an absolute mess with vehicles blocking intersections (and the bike lane) from Milwaukee to LaSalle. Ugh.

I have had my bridge to work (Kedzie over the river) for the last month. It truly is a pain. Sorry for everybody who has to face this one. Hopefully it's done soon.

Idling in the bike lanes themselves, or "blocking the box"?

Vehicles turning from Des Plaines & other cross streets on to Kinzie blocking the intersections and sitting over the crosswalk/bike lane entry.

Isn't the bike detour for the Kinzie bridge project rerouting cyclists to the Grand bridge?  Or was that changed?

Only westbound Kinzie bike lane is closed right now, eastbound is open.

But, at least as of last week, the sign on the westbound path was indeed re-routing cyclists to Grand.

Maybe they've taken it down now that Grand is closed.
