Don't go to Heritage for any work on your bike. Their mechanics are clueless and messed up my bike, while the owner refused to acknowledge it. The coffee is okay, though I prefer the more local Intelligentsia or Dark Matter.

If you prefer local you should check out Bowtruss, I think their coffee taste better than Intelligentsia and Dark Matter.

I live four blocks from there and have been meaning to check them out. Maybe this weekend. :-)

I'm not normally this far north, but I went into firecakes cause someone told me they were better than old fashioned. Further testing is required. However, the guy behind the counter allowed me to bring my bike into their front space(which is tiny) and pack my panniers with sugary treats.

I went to a bike shop and they let me bring my bike in. They even fixed it for me!

I just feel that people should know about my experience before deciding to give Heritage their money.

I'm also in the camp that bringing your bike into any business unless it's a bike shop is obnoxious. I once saw a pair of roadies bringing their bikes into the grocery store to shop, taking up the entire aisle so no one could get around them.
