Can anyone recommend a local business that does iPhone glass replacement?
I feel like I walked past a storefront not too long ago that had a bunch of broken iPhone screens and outer glass hanging in the window, but I have no idea where that was.
Thx...

Which model? It's been my experience, for the older models, it's almost worth it to just go to the apple store. Last time I took a batch over, it was $99 for a 4, $150 for a 4s, $200 for a 5 to swap it out for a new one sans box. They are swapping with new ones, not refurbished. Whenever I check independent repair shops, it's only slightly cheaper with no guarantee (if you dropped it, you may have rattled the guts).
Obviously, your mileage may vary, and you may feel that going the repair shop route is better. I also represent a corporate program, so I may be getting different pricing (they always tell me I'm not). Also, not vested in Apple, I'm a Samsung guy for my personal gadgets.

They repaired my iPhone. No complaints & good service.
The Apple Store will definitely do it. I think they charge $150, which may be more than you want to spend.
Irescue911 super cheap, located not far from the barrington metra station. They do phones, tablets, and more. My friend runs it and is super great!!

They have one by the apple store on North ave. They also do other phones if needed.
Yep, I have friends who have used this place. It's cheaper than the Apple store and does pretty good work!

this place did mine in under an hour. Also I found a prom code somewhere online that made it way cheaper. I think all and all it was $50 or $60.
Oh FYI it needs to be not an iphone 5. those the glass is different on and places can't fix them.
