After Bike the Drive this morning, I noticed a tent with really cool grey t-shirts. The design had a whole bunch of overlapping bikes. I didn't have a chance to check out the tent and was curious what it was about. Does anyone else know?

I noticed that the Bike to Work Week is managed by the Dept of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, and not Active Trans or CDOT, so I think it's hard for them to reach their target audience. Anyway, here's the web page with info on that week's events. Don't miss the pictures of the people on stationary bikes next to the Bean.

Not that wikipedia is always correct, but in 1923 the salute was introduced and by 1926 it was mandatory for the party. You're correct that it was the 1930s when it became mandatory for everyone else. We both win! Wikipedia
