Hi,

Can someone recommend a safe place to lock up bikes at Union and Ogilvy train stations? Thanks!

You can rent bike parking space at the Willis Tower parking garage http://www.thechainlink.org/forum/topics/bike-valet-service-gets-ro...

i would ask (I hate root canals too...never had one but just the thought of it....  :-(  how long do you plan to lock up (during the day, overnight, all weekend?) and most importantly : what kind of bikes, Myself : if it was a nice bike; I would never) if it is an OK bike : I would double u-lock it and find a building nearby with a security camera (i.e. 1 block west of Ogilvie at the Bank of America office building (555 W. Washington) there are racks and a security CCTV camera adjacent to the loading dock entrance). if it is a beater; double u-lock it in plain view of the entrance; but ensure that it cannot get shoved into the street by drunken suburban sports fans (I see that a log at Ogilvie on Madison st.). Union station there are racks on monroe between wacker and canal (north side) that are in plain view but away from most foot traffic : i.e. the bikes cannot be kicked into the street, for example.
