Bicycle Mechanic Needed

Bucephalus Bikes is looking for a bicycle mechanic. We are a relatively new local bicycle shop in Evanston. We specialize in quality service and value for all riders no matter what they use for riding. We play nice with people while working on their bicycles.



The candidate must be:

 

  • passionate about bicycles

  • reliable and responsible

  • motivated and attentive

  • experienced in working with bicycles of all types and vintage--has a good eye for details

  • a team-player with a positive attitude and possessing above average communication skills

  • available to start immediately

Why does your logo have a bull when Bucephalus was, in fact, a very famous horse? I appreciate the brainy reference though.

Apparently Bucephalus is greek for ox-head.

I respect horses, and I admire Fred A. Birchmore. The name of my shop is the result of their impact.
