im 99 percent sure im riding. wanted to go en mass...hence the posting on this forum. The more, the merrier...and safer. My girl will be riding, and she is not the strongest rider as of yet, and ill most likely be on my fixie, so im ok with a moderate speed.

alex, have you attempted that all grain brew yet?

alex said:
Nice to finally find other homebrwers. I got a russian imperial stout aging right now and would like to move to all grain brewing. Also going to DLD but i have no idea how i'mgetting there yet. Would like to ride the tandem over there but i don't think the wife would be too keen on the idea
Haha..
Thanks punk.

Not yet. Maybe in the next couple weeks since i'm still drinking my stout. I've been busy and broke lately but when are we starting that hombrew group?

and for the record befor she hits me with a frying pan or somthing. i was calling the bike a beast...not your beautiful wife. :) oh and how was Kumas u dickhead. i just got super hungry....haha i think im gonna hold off on payin rent and go eat.
Yes. It's right next to the Metra station! :)

I was absolutely miserable by the time we got to Flossmoor (fought a deflating front tire for the last 10 miles to 3 Floyds), so I headed home on the train right away.

But the other guys.....well, they got more drunk at Flossmoor Station then soaked their very own Metra car with 7 or 8 dirty, snowy bikes.

iggi said:
isnt there a brew pub in flossmoor also? tee hee!!

Coming back from this year's Three Floyds ride, a lot of us biked to Flossmoor and hopped the Metra home from there. Flossmoor is pretty much 10 miles straight west of Three Floyds.

the ride there sounds fun but the ride back is questionable...
The official event is posted...as an event. Come one, come all. Even the ones who will be trailing behind (you know who you are). We shall be meeting in front of the Shedd Aquarium around 8am to start pedaling down to Munster, Indiana. It is about 30 miles down. If we become too imbibed...there are alternative means of transportation to return via rail. You in? Good! Lets go.
