I ordered the exact fenders pictured from Velo-Orange and the logo is a peel off sticker.
That is good to know.
How much work was it to install them? I found detailed instructions online and it looks a little more work than planetbike/SKS fenders?

I think bike shops usually charge an hour's worth of labor to install VO/Honjo fenders...and that's a good deal IMO.
It's non-trivial to install them, but they are very nice.
I probably spent at least a solid hour installing mine. They're a little trickier to maneuver into place, and the way the stays attach to the fender makes me angry. In addition to your wire cutter and hex keys, a six pack of beer is also a necessary tool.
They are harder than a normal set of fenders but not a huge deal if you have done them before; the first set I did took a long time but after that they got easier.
