Looking for some recommendations from people who have recently purchased/installed hooks/shelves in their apartments to hang their bikes. I don't have that much extra room (or extra money, for that matter) but I want to at least explore my options so my roommates can stop referring to the room I've been using for my 2 bikes as "The Bike Room." I know they'd be a little happier if I had at least one on the wall instead of the floor.
thanks!

Yeah, the frame one. I'd love that, thanks for offering. The first one is great but a little bigger and more involved than I was imagining. What neighborhood are you in?
I am in Homer Glen (SW Suburbs). In my opinion, the other is less involved, as it supported from ceiling to floor, so no need to find stud in wall then bolt into wall. I don't make it into the City, and if you can't make it out this way, if you know someone, they can swing by and pick it up. The one in question, for which you are the most interested in, can be bought at Home Depot for like 10 bucks or something like that, which is more than likely less than the gas $$$ it would take to come get it.

Good point, I'll probably just stop at Home Depot instead, but thanks for the offer and for the ideas! :)
