So, I admit, I'm an extended member of the chicago bicycling community. An ex-chicagoan living north of the border in Madison. Great city for biking though and lots of peeps here take advantage of the trails, racks, and other things the community does to promote cycling in all forms. However, the haters do exist as well. Recently, a local disc jockey chimed in and during a skit talked about shooting cyclists like deer and made other ridiculous statements. I could sort of care less when some clown talks like that, it's like saying that you're not cool unless you don't work out and save gas money, just plain dumb. However, it really did tweak some people here and the rage spread like wildfire. Anyhow, Bikesnob NYC finally piped in his 2 cents on it and it has me pretty cracked up...so, check out the links from the show that aired and Bikesnob's response. Oh and by the way, feel free to contact WJJO about this as well, I'm sure they love spending all day doing damage control instead of generating revenue
