I don't know-- I wasn't trying to present it as a foregone conclusion-- just asking. My question was aimed at the OP or anyone else able to stand at that exact spot and see what's what; the picture clearly doesn't present enough info. Sounds like you know the spot if you know what's on that sign?

I've had problems with the valet there as well, to the point of going in on one occasion and speaking to the manager. She was sympathetic and promised to follow up but I haven't seen an improvement since then. The valets actually encourage customers to pull in to the bike lane. Frustrating.

That was my thought until I made the mistake of trying to talk to him. It's a pity about the terrible valet. The Gilt seems like the sort of bar I'd like and it's on my way home, but I've never gone in there because I've had enough problems with their valet that I don't want to patronize them.
