Southport

that's outside of Hopleaf, on Clark.

Apie, you are close, but this isn't the on street bike parking on Southport.

Gavin, you won!  PM me to get your shirt.

that's at clark and foster in front of Hopleaf...Jerry

Enjoy it while it's there; they have to take it out during snowplowing season.  It's great of Michael and Hopleaf to give up their dedicated loading zone for bicycle parking.  Be sure to express proper cyclist gratitude by carbo-loading (beer is liquid bread, yes?) there.  Open for lunch now too.

Ditto

It's the on-street rack next to the People Spot in Andersonville on Clark St.

That is the least he could do after the city gave him $150,000 in TIF money to build out the new space...

We all know how blighted Clark is once you go South of Foster...

Michael is a huge cyclist, but he can park his own bike inside the damn bar, he owns the joint.  And as a practical matter, lots of deliveries and other things that he and other Hopleaf workers do are made easier by that loading zone.  The sidewalk in front of the 'leaf was often impassible due to the number of bikes locked to the racks and streetsigns, so this is a real generous move for pedestrians and other folks.

You make it sound like he's not a cyclist himself...
