Rob & I will be moving to Michigan by the end of the month to live with and care for my Grandma and Mom. Since it is such short notice, we have some things we will need to give away as we don't want to lug too much into a house that is already filled with stuff. Also, since I am currently commuting from Michigan to Chicago for my job via the train lines, I don't have the ability to deliver anything at this time. I'll post more pics as I go through all the stuff. I am on the second floor of a fairly easy walk-up apartment and can help moving it if needed.
1) I still have available an old Kenmore Convertible sewing machine. The machine needs a new belt and a could use a tune-up ($60 quoted from a sewing machine store), but it is sturdy, solid, works if you get a belt for it, and it is free for someone who wants to pick it up and it even comes with the original manual and some accessories. The sewing table has been taken, but the machine is still here.
2) **PROMISED**We may also be giving away a sturdy cabinet/table thing that we use as a kitchen island- there is storage inside for pots and pans or whatever, and it could probably be used as a nice workspace/storage space in a garage. It looks kind of shabby chic whitewashed and would be really cute if it was painted or stained. Dimensions: 29" wide, 39" long, 32" tall.
3) Old computer parts- we have a bin of old computer parts. Not sure exactly what is in there, but it is a giant rubbermaid container full of parts.
4) **PROMISED**Old iron baker's rack- still sturdy, could use some cleaning and maybe a few screws on the decorative pieces. The rack is 71" tall, 14" deep and 27" wide and will be cleared of junk before pick-up.
5) Soccer shoes with rubber cleats- Men's Size 12 Nike Soccer shoes in box. I do not think Rob ever wore them and they appear to be new in box.
If you would like to donate some boxes, packing tape or a 2 liter of Diet Coke in exchange, I would accept, but the stuff is all free to a good home and I don't expect anything for it- I just need to pare down what we are taking with us.
I am sure there is more stuff we will want to give away. All of it is functional and I am sure that someone out there could use it and I would hate to toss it and have no time for Craigslist. I haven't even gotten to the cycling stuff yet- I do know we have a nice frame and a lot of parts in our storage area that will be given away as well and I will add to this list as I go through our things.
Thank you!
Melanie & Rob

ok, I'll take a look at my machine tonight, do you know the dimensions of the bolt holes?
Sounds like a plan- I'll be home after 5:30 or so. I'll PM the address/phone :) Thank you!

Mine appears to have a couple random bolt holes in the bottom that probably fit 2 of those. i can come by and get it tonight if want.
