Here is what I got to share so far:

  • Oregano
  • Spiderwort
  • Fern. Likes half-shade and damp

Oregano and Spiderwort can be picked up anytime. Fern will have to wait another month or so

I live in A'Ville, but could meet somewhere downtown-ish.

I've also got oregano, mint and some catnip to share.  I could share a little bit of vinca, too.

Duppie - What type of fern?  BTW, that red lily is coming up beautifully.  That and other Asiatic lilies have popped up in the last week.

I'm in Beverly, but meeting somewhere between Bridgeport and the Loop could work, too.

Anne,

Not sure what kind of fern. It's a pretty small one, but it grows well in our light shade garden. We got it from my wife's family in Muskegon, MI, where it ahd taken over the garden, so it must be well suited to a midwest climate.

I'll see if I can dig up a photo of it

Here is an updated list for this spring:

  • Chives
  • Garlic Chives
  • Oregano
  • Tall (5-7 feet) black-eyed susan,
  • Fern
  • Spiderwort
  • Various tomatoes (eating, cherry, paste). I have an abundance of tomato seedlings and assuming all goes well, I will have at least half a dozen plants ready to share in 3-4 weeks.

The first 3 and the tomatoes come potted, but all will have to be repotted once you take them.

Let me know if you are interested in something.
