Tires and pebbles

Anybody else shoot projectiles from their tires?

A small pebble rock gets hit just right and shoots sideways from my tire, seems to be happening quite frequently, luckily no one has been hit, but I did get a car once.

Come to think of it this has happened to me twice in as many days. Thought it was just a coinkydink. Both times they spat out and hit a rim of parked car with a nice bell/gong-sound.

Strange. These new rocks that have been showing up in the bike lanes...

Chicago street cleaning is suspended between the end of November and the end of March. All the little rocks and undissolved salt particles will again be brushed away on a more regular basis beginning next week.

Isn't this a Phish song "Pebbles and Marbles" shot from my mind....JK...

I love shooting pebbles into the sides of brand new cars like be be's from a pistol! Though I also get hit myself quite often when riding with large groups...tire psi can really make these projectiles dangerous!
