Tomorrow, Jan 20, is the 27th anniversary of the coldest day in Chicago's history and the annual celebration of that -27 below day:
6:30am-9am, Daley Plaza (Dearborn and Washington)
Active Transportation Alliance will be offering free bike safety checks and serving up free Caribou coffee, tea, and hot cocoa, plus samples of Eli's Cheesecake!
We're also giving away sweet raffle items: whole bean Caribou coffee, a flipcam (from MB Financial Bank), and an Advil Congestion Relief (of the bike lane snow plow campaign) FOLDING BIKE.
The first 50 people arriving get their choice of free blinkee, bike bell, or Bike Winter fleece balaclava! And we'll have a dance party courtesy of Uncle Mikey and the West Town Bikes sound trailer!

Sorry to hear that Kristen.
I am considering attending, although it is an extra mile out of the way of my normal commute to get to Daley Plaza. I guess it depends on how frozen I am feeling at the time. If I don't make it, I hope everyone has some fun there tomorrow. I'll be there in spirit as I am biking to work as I do most every day.
I'll be there!

I'd love to attend but my bicycle was stolen yesterday.
Also, tomorrow is opening day for Bike the Drive 2012 registration! WOOT!
I'll be there at 6:30 to get a freebie!
