Hideout gets bike parking right

Hip Hip Hooray for The Hideout! Some pics from the Hideout Block Party last Saturday 9/24.

You turn the corner onto (whatever dang side street that is off of Elston) and the first thing you see is bike parking. The tents to the east were the main entrance.

 

P.S. I saw mondo chainlinkers there, including a rare Grubworm Peenologist sighting :-)

Did they have more racks this year? It didn't seem like it, but I was surprised to find Elston didn't have bikes locked to everything possible for several blocks in either direction as has been the case in previous block parties. Tickets sold out, so turnout must've been the same. Could a slightly chilly day have that big an impact on biking, or did they just up the bike parking on site?

I ran into a bunch of chainlinkers there and I was only able to stay 2 hours.
