Dunno, but they do have a protected bike lane there. Must be a nice place to live...

I think it's a computer generated city slightly resembling our own--the "whatcha talkin' 'bout Willis" Tower is the giveaway.  But no real Chicagoan rides Northerly Island in that sort of Tour de France jersey get up.  And to ride a flashy new bike under the Lake Street L tracks--you're just gonna get mugged.  Yep, computer animation all the way.

looks more than slightly resembling, with the hancock in some shots as well as trump and all the other staples.  the opening looks hyde park-ish tho i haven't been there in a while.

 

in any case, it is an AD.  just like most ads are meant to project an image people desire, this one wants people to feel like chicago (or any large city) is safe and fit.
