You blew the red light east bound on Lawrence at Damen at 5:26 pm this evening.
There was enough time for the biker in front of me to make it half way into the intersection, northbound on Damen, before you came whizzing past my front wheel.
I yelled "You're an idiot!" at your big haired chick, self, and you looked back at me. I meant it!
I woulda testified for any of the cars, that managed to not kill you, if they had.
Keep riding like a tard!
love,
gabe
Witness bad behavior during your commute? Feel free to post. Maybe that lovely human can read it and think they are famous. Maybe you can also inspire the whole generation of kids to shower but we can start with small things.

Since I have been a member of Chainlink, I have been more aware of the things I would do while cycling. I used to ignore all signals because I thought it was my right to ride how ever I felt.
I Now stop at stop signs even though, and especially because, I see cars roll through them.
I Roll Stop signs unless I see traffic then i stop. I hate the wave. You get to the stop sign, stop, and the ass head in the car that has the right of way waves you on or sits there thinking you are gonna run the stop. Hate it. Red lights is a stop.
Yes, this is hugely frustrating. I don't want to alienate people who are being nice, but the alternative is not good either.
My practice is to yield the right of way to whoever should have it - but I never stop for any signal or sign if there is no traffic around to justify it.
I have to agree with Gabe- I don't roll through when there are cars present, but I hate when I come to a full stop, then the guy in the car to the right "waves" me through. I know he/she is being all friendly and nice letting me go, but at that point when a person with the right of way sees me stop, I want them to do what they are supposed to do- which is go.
Here is my "Missed Connection" of the day.
I noticed you around 7:45 a.m. this morning as you were hauling ass on your low-end mountain bike which you were pedaling like an idiot because it wasn't in the right gear, heading southbound on Lincoln Avenue and then crossing over Southport against the light, narrowly missing a string of cars who had the green light. In your haste to avoid being hit by the Southport cross-traffic you recklessly weaved and swerved into the crosswalk, causing the crossing guard and the 7 to 10 elementary school children she was guiding to scatter in all directions while they were in the crosswalk, crossing Lincoln with their walk light and her giant hand held "STOP" sign which she waved angrily at you. Maybe you were blind to the blaring orange vest of the crossing guard, or didn't see the string of children behind her, or just didn't care. You are a jerk.
I hate you. You make all cyclists look bad and you have no regard for others, even small children.
Love,
Melanie
Just had to get that off my chest. It really irritated me the way this 30-40 year old, fully grown adult idiot rode. I am not always the most polite rider, but I have never "almost" hit children in a crosswalk, as I don't cross when I see the crossing guard lady and kids, nor do I feel a need to weave through cross-traffic just to cross the street and endanger my own life.
